2D1N in Cameron

Just to be special, I named my Cameron trip album at facebook as Golden Horse Wheel which directly translate from Chinese. I realised that not everyone understand the meaning and my senior just thought it is a restaurant somewhere in Penang. Banana couldn't get the meaning perhaps?! :P

We planned for the trip for almost 3 months ago and finally the day just come in a glimpse of eyes.
We depart at 6.30am and head to Ipoh for Fu Shan Dim Sum~ Luckily we have a Ipoh lang to guide us there! hehe... :) Here we are at Fu Shan~

After breakfast we drive directly to Cameron, reached our apartment on the peak at about 12noon.
Cameron's traffic is quite terrible during Penang public holiday and many KL people escape to Cameron due to Bersih 2.0 rally. The markets and  farms are just so crowded.

Once we arrived. We took our family photos at the living room.

After resting a while, we walk out to the market to buy vege for tonight steamboat and visit to the strawberry farm nearby.
Cameron is really famous for Strawberry now. Every stalls are selling strawberry thingy...>,<

Finished buying, we just get back and hiding in our apartment. It is really crowded and jam outside. =.=
I was busy watching cartoon, 2 taking nap and 4 playing mahjong...

Finally come to dinner time...
We saw the white cloud flying towards us and cover the whole mountain while waiting for our steamboat to be boiled. that's why our background is totally white! The wind is strong and it rains for a while. *cold*

* Little incident happened at night when I'm sleeping. I wake up at around 12am and saw 4 of them still sitting and chit-chatting at the living room. They told me that the door suddenly BANG then open but luckily the door chain still withhold it. There is no other else staying at the same floor and the floor's apartments are all blank.  Anyway, just don't try to scare ourselves, I think it is due to the strong wind and the door didn't close tightly.

On the next day, we finished last night leftover as our breakfast.

Checkout at about 11am and searching for Boh tea farm but we are on the wrong way. We stop at another strawberry farm to have a look, but it is almost the same. We just head back to the peak again to the market to buy vege and finally we saw the Boh Tea Farm signboard!

The road to get in is very rugged and luckily we have 2 expert drivers to drive us safely.

We up to Ipoh after Cameron again to have the famous 'Nga Choi Kei' as dinner~yum yum~

A wonderful relaxed trip with my lovely friends.

Sg.Lembing 林明之旅

14.04.2011 - 16.04.2011

3days 2nights Sg.Lembing Trip organised by FunTravel Mag where the meeting point at McD Sunway Menteri 7.30pm. But we waited until around 8.45pm only depart where the journey to Kuantan take about 4 hours. Bus broke down half way to Kuantan and the schedule has been delayed for few hours more. :S

Finally we arrived at Lin Ming at about 4am and we have only 1 hour to have a proper sleep. 6 of us ended up take a shower and went out for early breakfast without any rest.

The distance to the waterfall from the village need about 1 hour by 4 wheel drive. Luckily the sun is still sleeping and the wind is just so nice and comfortable. Anyway, when down from the waterfall, all girls 'hiding' inside the car and left guys sit at behind.They all SUNBURN! xP

The second day we climb Panorama Hill for Sunrise at about 530am. omg, there are all stairs all the way up. My legs getting heavy and tire but have to insist to up to the hill.

Just for short, we went to Sg. Lembing museum, the crystal house, the canopi walk and sleeping buddha during this short trip...

I have been wanted to go Sg. Lembing long time ago and now my wish come true~! hehe, thanks to my dear friend Sim Sim~ ^^  I'm also very glad that ah oi and wx joined me to this trip as well!

20110113 Short Fun KL Trip

Air Asia promotion! cepat kaki tangan book the ticket to KL (3 days 2 nights) to meet my dear Angela. Been asking her to come to Penang but she asked me to down to KL. =.= I make it finally and she has no excuse not to come to Penang anymore. haha.

She is so kind enough to pick me up at LCCT with Wayne companion. Thanks both. ^^ I went to 1 Utama which I never been to and went to Sunway Pyramid. Meet up with Thia for steamboat at Sunway Menteri if I'm not mistaken about the place. It was strongly recommended by Angela, a must try place especially the fried chicken. We went for mid-night movie afterwards and luckily i didn't fall asleep. Just to mention, TGV cinema is really in bad condition and the price is much more expensive than GSC!

The next day, we had dim sum breakfast, a must try place again. Afterwards,we went to 1 Utama and Sunway Pyramid again as she doens't know what and where is KL tourist attraction. I called up Kevin to meet us up as it has been a long time I never see him since I graduated.

Ole-ole Bali - strongly recommended by her as well -> must try the SATAY!!

Very special and yummy dessert @ Snowflakes

After having dinner at 1-U, hmm, we decided to up to Genting because no plan at night and JW's house just 15 mins drive up to Genting. We are so spontaneous!xD

So, we drove for about 45mins to reached JW's house and he drove us up there.

How convenient it is to go Genting from his house huh, but it's incovenient to down to the town lah.

It was too late to back to PJ so we overnight at JW's house without changing and bathing. me first time without changing and bathing for all day travel! bo huat. :S

The next morning, we had roti canai and teh tarik as breakfast "under" Genting.

We will pass by Batu Caves from the way from Genting to the town. Thus I requested to have a look there as never be there before. So coincidentally, Thaipusam was just around the corner.Batu caves is so crowded  but luckily we still able to finish climbed up to the caves! Anyway, we coudn't stop sweating. hahah. Thanks once again for bringing me there.

After Batu Caves, I back to Angela's house to have a bath then straight to the airport.

Melbourne Day 5

Time flies and tomorrow I'll fly back to Sydney to transit back to Penang! So, Ai Yeen bring me to Queen Victoria market again because I want to buy fruits (cherry and mango) back home. Huu....make trouble to them because they gonna help me to carry the big box of cherry back to thier house first but I go to state library to wait for Charng Wei for lunch! (sorry to you guys late for lunch with friends)

After meeting with Wei, we go to Si Chuan restaurant for lunch as Wei want to eat spicy fish and below is pepper chicken that I ordered! Yum Yum! ^^

I'm so full after finish the set lunch. Then we have a walk to Crown. We can catch tram there but we walk there to enjoy the scenery along the road. So tiring~! Walk in the casino again. Arghh...I gonna show my ID before going in!!!! Why yesterday I no need to show??!! This is the first time Wei come to Casino because the first time the guard does not want to let her in and this time can and need not to show her ID. *blek*

After walking around the casino, we go to Greco to have tea! This food not cheap ar...a piece of cake cost AUD10.50...I'm broke after wating the cake...@.#

Really will gain weight after having the whole piece of cheese cake! We take tram to go back to the state library there and call Ai Yeen to ask where are they. Hmm....thier friend will take them to go to a high place for melbourne scene look without entrant fee.

OOO....actually is going to a hotel at 30 something floor's toilet. =.=!!! swt! The toilet have a big transparent glass that can view part of Melbourne. I still thought I'm going to higher place for the view after going to toilet. >.<

After that go home lo...gonna pack my luggage and have a good rest! Tonight no more outside food, Ai Yeen cook pasta for me to eat!! Yummy Yummy!! We watch drama while eating...hehe..

Melbourne Day 4 - Mornington Peninsula

Today we join Gray Line day trip to Mornington Peninsula and AUD 115 per person with student price, including morning tea, lunch and entrance fee.

Highlight of the trip: picking strawberry, visit to Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens, rose maze etc! Enjoy enjoy~!

The driver is nice and he did introduce Melbourne to us along the road. It takes about 2 and the half hours to reach the destination.

The place we stop for toilet. The weather seem not very nice and cloudy. Fortunately do not rain for the whole day and it's so suitable for outing! ^^

After morning tea, we head to Sunnyridge Strawberry farm which is Australia's largest strawberry producer

wow wow~~~ so many strawberry!!! I summore keep a bag of strawberry in my bag as instigate by them... *guilty* n *scare they will check my bag!!*=PNext, we go to Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens. There is a worker guide us to the magnificent rose maze and lavender gardens, also witness and learn the extraction process of lavender oil.

After that, we down to Arthurs Seat again to enjoy the spectacular views of mornington peninsula and Port Phillip Bay.

The day with lotz of fun! The driver is so kind that send 7 of us back to the place we stay! Normally they only send thier customer back just around the city! hehe...^^

Tonight dinner no outside food. We go to Coles to buy vege and mince for fried bee hun! Really can save a lot without going out for meal...xD
