Ancestor worship Ceremony

@ Upper Penang Road

Early in the morning already woke up by my mother to help her to wrap the hankerchief whcih will used by those 'dui liap lang' to clean thier hand before praying. While my dad just slept for 1 or 2 hours and after that went to the commitee house to bring Peng Zu down to Penang road.

one of the most busy person would be the camera man. He complaint that he never be too tire as this...yesterday night need to video the welcome dinner then sleept for few hour need to video the process of shipping peng zu down to penang road in midnight then the ceremony then the dinner! xD

Welcome Dinner at 槟州华人大会堂

Most of our oversea ' relatives' arrived and so there is a welcome dinner for them.^^ But, the place is too small for about 1000 people to sit...so the helpers have no place to sit...@@

This is not the first day but is the day before the convention. it's 开光仪式 ( ceremony of 'opening' our Ancestor eyes, nose, mouth, ears etc)
This was hold in one of the committee member's big bungalow.

The ceremony was hold until 3pm sth. after that se go to the hotel to help as people will keep on coming and check in....hehe...we go for dinner at New World Park...woo Hoo...I ordered fish and chips!! yeah...althoughI can get it in Australia, but I prefer Penang's fish n chips...hehe...

10.10.2008!!

I go to hotel in the morning...and seen there is nothing for me to do so I go home to sleep....it's so sleepy and tiring..i cannot tahan liao!!! i slept from 2pm sth until 5pm sth...Finally my phone call rang...it's sze chuin - asking for the T-shirt...as I have nothing to do so I go to Sungai Dua there to meet them and we go to airport together....sat on a 'lousy' van to the airport lo!

when they arrived, we need to claps and and shouted: 欢迎,欢迎, 热烈欢迎! It's very funny to me...hehehehehehe.... I used to welcomed by others...but now I need to welcome them~

The jarkata group not yet have thier dinner, so we go to HAi WAI TIAN at Lip SIn there for dinner....anyway, we already have it just my dad ask us to follow them to go to eat...my small uncle and small aunty are so cute...they said we still have chance like go to travel by bus and got a tour guide talking in front just like we are travelling!!

But my poor cousin...no time to eat liao...as another arrival will arrive in short while...so my dad and she rush to the airport again and the remaining enjoy their dinner....including me..heheehe....

DayYs in PenaNg

I go back to Penang for 2 weeks!!!!
Anyway, just very few friends know I'm going back as I'm very busy for this holidays!! ;P
I have wasted my $104 air ticket to brisbane but go back to Penang..sure I have to spent the time with my family and the Peng convention.

Let's me talk about this:
The 8th World-wide Peng Clansman Convention held once in two years, and this time is in PENANG!! That's why my mother ask me to go back and pray my Ancestor: 彭祖. I have been participated this convention twice: 2002 at Bangkok and 2006 at Wu Yi Shan.

That's nothing much to do at the first week...and I always sleep sleep sleep...feel so lazy when I'm at home and my sister complaint me!!! *hng! jeoulous me...hahaha...
My mum ask me to wash my face but I lazy to do so and want my sister to help me to wash...(really lazy huh?!) she did learn cosmetology before ma...but she refused.....hehe...my mum was standing at my side!! my mum said just once la..teach her how to wash la... she is so reluctant then...but at last I also wash my face myself and she is standing beside teaching me... xD thanks MuM...muacs~!

2 October: I go to Queesnbay with my cousin sister, my 5th aunty, my mama and my sister....searching for garments for the dinner of the convention... THEY WANT TO WEAR SKIRT!!! I refused...hehe...no reason..!

3 October: Siew Min comes to my house to gossip....I asked her to accompany me to go to buy DVD...wanna update myself so she drove...ooops....parking needs RM2, and it is not a parking space!!! I don wan to give that 'wang pa dan' money...so I suggested to ride motor..hehe...more convenient and no need to pay money....*sign* no car drive motor....

5 October: Badminton with my cousins~!
Also, I always invited by my little cute nephew to go to his house to play WII with him....;P

6 October: Go for movie - MAmaMIA~~!!

8 October: Have my hair cut! woo hoo..the barber still remember me although I didn't go there for 1 year and my last hair cut was not him! hehe... RM3 discount.... xD After that, Lao Sim called me to ask me to go to help - pack the gift with my gugu... =p

I also did twice full body massage at home~enjoy and relaxing..wakakaka...

Meeting Friends

Second last meeting for the 8th World-Wide Peng Clansman Convention at Continental Hotel.
Short-term memory lost....I REMEMBER I'M not at HOME but I forgot what I have done during morning and the meeting hold in the afternoon. The purpose of this meeting is to confirm everything, and coordinate with the tour guides, also ask if got any queries...I sat there listening and do nothing for the whole afternoon...hehehe...just kaypo-ing~!

Finally the meeting end..then my papa brought us for perhaps is dinner at "LU YE vegetarian restaurant'....vege laksa, vege ho fan, sushi... yummmm~~!

Finally I met Mun at 7pm at Gurney....as I have no car, so my sis drove me there and ask Mun to drive me to my cousin's house....*pity Pity*

Because of 九王爷, I just order one cendol and looking them to eat....(I'm not the one who very pure..=P) We talked about our secondary school life...it's cool!!!

Here I talk a bit about it....it's really an unforgettable memories...oops...Lok Lok..u'r not the same class with me.....

It was Form 3 and my first time for teacher shouted KELUAR!!!!!There were 10 of us, including our 2 class monitors....hehe..when we standing outside....people asking why were we outside of the classroom but no one know we were punished by the teacher...hehe...and the bell rang in few more minutes...
It's because we were talking GHOST story...and that naughty Mun scare the friend beside her by saying 'she's beside u' and she shouted very loudly!!! OMG!!the one who shouted has a nickname which descibe her has a loud sound...That's why...

We did say sorry to that teacher...and we guessing he has a heart disease...perhaps just guessing~! =P
